Prevention First, A Lifetime of Healthy Smiles Starts Early
Dr. Sahar Alrayyes has been part of the Kids Dentist family for over 15 years and has been a pillar of its excellence, teaching, and compassionate care. In addition to her clinical work at Kids Dentist, she is a full-time Clinical Associate Professor and the Clinic Director at the University of Illinois Department of Pediatric Dentistry.
She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Northwestern University Dental School in 1998 and completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry and her Master of Science in Oral Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2002. Dr. Sahar is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Sahar is deeply passionate about volunteer care and travels to underprivileged counties at least twice each year to provide volunteer pediatric dental care. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their two boys, biking around the city, and playing soccer.
